Summary
Elecharge is a San Francisco based startup that helps citizens to charge their electric vehicles with the use of a new turbo charging technology. Elecharge collaborated with MomentUp to create their brand identity and Ul/UX for their platform as well as landing page. The task was to design a brand identity and UI/UX for this revolutionary electric vehicle charging platform, but it extended beyond aesthetics and usability. MomentUp needed to convey the essence of Elecharge's cutting-edge technology and the promise of a more sustainable urban future through their design. We had to strike a balance between showcasing the innovation behind Elecharge's turbo-charging solutions and ensuring the user interface was intuitive and accessible. The challenge was to marry the dynamic, forward-thinking spirit of Elecharge with the practical needs of the end-users, resulting in a cohesive, engaging, and eco-conscious digital experience.
Approach
To enhance the UI/UX and craft the landing page for Elecharge, our process was structured across multiple stages ensuring efficiency and clarity. Beginning with a meticulous two-week research phase, we delved deep into understanding user needs and market dynamics. Following this, a comprehensive three-week wireframing stage enabled the creation of detailed blueprints for both the landing page and platform, laying the foundation for design execution. Over four weeks, the high-fidelity design phase brought concepts to life, refining towards the final working coat. Subsequently, a two-week usability testing period validated the design's functionality and user experience, ensuring optimal performance and results.
