As you can see by the video above, UNIONBAY is a classic lifestyle brand, based in Washington, that become a household name for American sportswear in the 80s, appealing to the teen generation of that era. However, now they had found themselves in a competitive digital environment in terms of SEO and content marketing, aiming to revamp their whole content creation strategies to reach Millenials with their casual apparel. MomentUp had the responsibily of revamping their whole content creation strategy to elevate UNIONBAY's brand and make them relatable to the younger audience, focusing on enhancing SEO by publishing high quality articles and backlinking to fan pages on social media to drive more traffic to certain pages of the website, expanding brand recognition among a younger demographic, and amplifying organic revenue by 50%.

Approach

To rejuvenate UNIONBAY's SEO efforts, we executed a comprehensive content creation strategy. Increasing the brand's visibility among existing customers involved integrating semantically-related keywords on product pages and crafting SEO content to cater to their established customer base. Simultaneously, MomentUp tailored SEO-rich content and optimized product descriptions to engage and attract a younger demographic. By expanding UNIONBAY's keyword portfolio by 3,622 terms and tripling their blog content, we significantly improved organic revenue by 200% YoY and increased organic sessions by 115% YoY. Achieving a ranking for over 10,000 keywords and securing the top position for "cargo shorts men" propelled UNIONBAY beyond competitors, showcasing the impactful collaboration between MomentUp and UNIONBAY through transparent communication and strategic execution.
